Christian Rasmusson
CEO and Partner at The Pool Marbella, a meeting place for entrepreneurs, executives, and investors in southern Spain. With over two decades of experience in hospitality, real estate, flexible workspaces, and private investment, he has a multidisciplinary approach to building impactful business communities. Christian began his career in hospitality, working with top-tier hotels like Dorchester Hotel, Sheraton, and Ritz Carlton. He then joined Regus, learning facility management at scale and overseeing the launch and turnaround of several business centers in Málaga and Marbella. As Director of Real Estate for a private Spanish family office, Christian managed a diverse property portfolio and led the development of new business concepts, including innovative workspace models. In 2021, Christian drove the birth of The Pool Marbella, a strategic meeting point for founders and investors. He also founded Marbella 2.0, aiming to position Marbella as a European business and lifestyle hub. Christian curates influential events and assists an active investor network, connecting capital with visionary ideas and talent.
Andreas Mihalovits
Andreas co-founded his first internet company Omniga in 1999 and, after reaching profitability within 2 years, grew it to a venture builder focused on B2C subscription models with more than 200 employees when he stepped back from his active roles in 2012. In the same year Andreas started investing in startups and later also got engaged in the Spanish ecosystem as the founder of Marbella Tech Angels, a network of more than 160 investors, founders & mentors living around Marbella. Andreas is also co-founder of the Global Super Angels Club, a platform for angel investors usually investing six-figure euro amounts in startups, supporting its more than 70 members to improve their deal flow and speed up their search for likeminded co-investors. Andreas received several awards incl. the Best European Early Stage Investor 2018 award from the European Business Angel Network (EBAN) and the Best Business Angel 2020 award at the Spanish National Business Angel Conference.
Nawal Roy
Founder and CEO of Holmusk, established in 2015, is a pioneering force in AI-driven healthcare. Dedicated to creating the world’s largest real-world evidence platform for mental health, Nawal oversees Holmusk's strategic direction and sets the tone for its sector defining ambition. Under his leadership, Holmusk has secured more than 100M USD of financing, completed two acquisitions in the U.S. and the U.K., and launched NeuroBlu, the premier source for mental health real-world data. Nawal curates a world-class team of clinical psychiatrists, computer scientists and data science experts, driving Holmusk's mission for gold-standard of evidence in mental health.
Beyond Holmusk, Nawal serves as a board member for Healthy Brains Global Initiative and as Co-chair of The Kennedy's Forum's Data and Measurement Committee since 2023. Additionally, Nawal's influence extends to the World Economic Forum, where he was a member of the Global Future Council for Mental Health in 2021-22. His multifaceted leadership embodies a commitment to advancing mental health on a global scale, through innovation, collaboration, activism, and strategic policy advocacy.
Armando Gonzalez
Tech entrepreneur at the forefront of the AI revolution. As the visionary CEO and Co-founder of RavenPack, he’s transforming how the world's top financial institutions harness the power of data analytics. In 2024, Armando took innovation to new heights by founding Bigdata.com, an AI research assistant that’s redefining how business and finance professionals access critical information.
With over 20 years of pioneering experience, Armando is a globally recognized authority in AI and systematic data analysis. His bold insights are featured across top publications including Bloomberg, Wall Street Journal and Financial Times. A dynamic speaker on the global stage, Armando’s expertise continues to inspire leaders across the Fintech industry. Armando holds degrees in Economics and International Business Administration from the American University in Paris.
Cristina Álvarez
Expert in talent and digital transformation, brings over a decade of international experience in people strategy, organizational innovation. Born and raised in Marbella, Cristina has always been passionate about the city's unique global connection. She began her career in startups focused on digital talent acquisition and employer branding, later advancing to lead talent management for Inditex Tech’s eCommerce division, where she was responsible for building the technology team for Inditex’s eCommerce division, developing its tech employer brand, and establishing partnerships with leading universities such as Stanford’s ICME. A year ago, Cristina returned to her hometown to reconnect with her roots and contribute locally.
She is now Advisor of Fuerte Group, a family-owned company founded in Marbella 70 years ago, which has grown into a leading player in hotel operations both nationally and internationally. Cristina is actively supporting Fuerte Group’s expansion into new markets such as Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Mexico contributing to the design of organizational structures and the leadership of sustainable growth initiatives. As co-founder of flagship events like hired!bcn, she has also helped shape the evolution of Spain’s digital talent sector.
Alfredo Bloy-Dawson
Marketing consultant based in Marbella, Spain. With over a decade of experience, he advises companies on digital strategy, content development, and lead generation, with a strong focus on video and online engagement. He has held senior management and marketing roles and now collaborates with firms across various sectors.
